The room wasnice and neat, equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. I appreciated the brand new bathroom and the large, cozy bed. The breakfast provided was adequate for starting the day, and the on-site workout room was a nice touch for those looking to stay active. The staff was helpful and accommodating.

The hotel appears somewhat outdated in certain areas.

When we visit Carthage, like staying here. The venue is comfy and reasonably priced with brilliantly friendly staff. The setting is stunning and excellent, near coffee shops and thousand island Alexandria bay.

Location is convenient and there are plenty of amenities like a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The cleanliness was a pleasant surprise!

Sadly, the staff service was lacking, with no one at the front desk at times, and I faced issues during checkout that frustrated me.

Shower curtain showed signs of wear with noticeable tears. Several maintenance issues, like a non-functioning deadbolt and a broken toilet paper holder, weren't promptly addressed. Sheets felt rough, with unpleasant surprises like old underwear found in the dresser. Breakfast options were limited to cold cereal and stale bread, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired, including unvacuumed floors and a lingering smell in the lobby.

I was let down. The shower curtains were torn, and the beds looked filthy like they just put new sheets over the old ones. After my woes, i really thought a tiny welcome gift would've been deserved, but no one offered me anything. Nearly left a good review, but couldn't over this nonsense.

The owners are accommodating. They even offered to drive us to local restaurants and help with travel needs.

We really enjoyed our stay with three dogs, and the cozy atmosphere. The nearby hunting and fishing spots were fantastic, and we had a blast exploring the outdoors as a family while staying comfortably.

My wife says that the front desk was frequently unmanned, making check-in tedious.

Just a well-suited match for taking strolls in Carthage with fantastic value for money. The staff was friendly and helpful, addressing our concerns promptly. Watch for the older equipment as some electronics might not work properly.
